We had the absolute pleasure of having Prasad as our driver during our recent trip to Sri Lanka, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, he was always punctual, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the trip of a lifetime.

Not only did he respect our schedule meticulously, but he also offered fantastic suggestions for activities and places that we would have otherwise missed. Thanks to him, we got a true taste of Sri Lankan culture, far beyond the typical tourist attractions. He really has a deep passion for his country and took every opportunity to share insightful details with us, making our trip much more meaningful.

What impressed us the most was his genuine care for our experience. He was always available to answer questions, provide recommendations, and even adapt our itinerary to make sure we got the most out of each day. It felt like he was just as invested in our enjoyment as we were!

The trip to Sri Lanka was one of the most extraordinary experience I never had. I was enchanted every day by the beauty of this land. It's hard to describe all the emotions I felt. What made it even more special was the presence of Prasad, our private driver. He is kind, polite, and great company. He is Always ready to share his experiences and knowledge, he was able to transmit  his passion to us, making every moment even more engaging. His advice turned out to be special... We couldn't have found a better person! The van is very clean, comfortable, and spacious.

I got to know Sri Lanka Safe Tours from a colleague who recommended it for the best reasons. From the first minute, Prasad was very helpful in building our itinerary in Sri Lanka, taking into account our preferences, time between cities and attractions. During the tour he was a very safe driver, his van was super clean and comfortable, and he was a pleasant company, introducing us to his cultures and history. One of the things we loved the most, besides his hospitality, was how flexible in he was during the trip: we changed our itinerary a couple of times and incorporated some of his suggestions which made our time in Sri Lanka very rich and diverse in terms of experiences and sights.
I definitely recommend Sri Lanka Safe Tours and Prasad as there are no hidden costs, he takes into account even your food preferences (which is very important if you don't eat very spicy food) and you can rely on his knowledge to get a deeper understanding of Sri Lanka.

Brilliant 6 day trip around Sri Lanka with Gemunu.
We were a mother and two daughters (20s) and Gemunu was the perfect guide and driver for our trip. He was very polite, punctual and nothing was any hassle. We covered so much during our 6 days (Colombo - Sigiriya - Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Ella - Mirissa). We couldn't have covered as much or done it as good without Gemunu.
We had a rough plan/ itinerary which Gemunu made suggestions or replacements based on what was best weather/ season wise.
He is very knowledgeable and proud of his country which makes him a great tour guide.
We would definitely recommend Gemunu to any friends or family taking a trip to Sri Lanka and will definitely use him again if we're back in Sri Lanka.

So, My partner and I booked a 22 day holiday to Sri Lanka -  Our first time to this beautiful country - Although we were independent travelers and we booked all our own hotel arrangements, we needed to organise a combination of transfers & tours. As we were travelling from Colombo, to Habarana, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, and Yala before returning to Colombo we researched tour companies and came across Sri Lanka Safe Tours, Prasad, the tour company owner, was totally flexible working around our itinerary and where appropriate helped us and advised us to amend accordingly. We engaged Sri Lanka Safe Tours for two 7 days tours - whilst also allowing ourselves time to rest, holiday and enjoy the various hotels and locations. Prasad, and his co-partner Dinesh were an absolute credit to the Sri Lankan tourest board, they were polite, courteous and punctual throughout - they adapted everything to our personal preference and ensured we gained the best experience throughout our tour without at any stage either pressurizing us to do more than we wanted to - tours are a balance between a holiday and a sight seeing experience - throughout the entire 22 days we felt safe, we felt comfortable and at no time did we feel under any obligation to go places we had no interest in. Prasad ans Dinesh both adapted our tour to meet our preference, whilst also ensuring we reached each of our next destinations in both a timely and organised fashion. We organised our tour from England before our departure and there is not anything I can complain about, we had great service, we knew the prices, we were safe and comfortable throughout our three weeks and we made new friends too!  We are both very experienced and confident Asian travelers and I can not emphasis enough how honest, reliable and lovely both these guys were throughout our tour, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sri Lankan Safe Tours to any future tourists - it was our absolute honour and pleasure to have picked this exceptionally professional company. Prasad at Sri Lanka Safe Tours is the best tour guide we could have hoped for. Not only was he great with our kids but he helped plan the itinerary, gave great advice, made excellent suggestions for how we could fill our days and told us many interesting stories to help us understand Sri Lankan / Buddhist culture. Prasad  was our private driver cum guide during our 7 days Sri lanka trip. He is good person with an excellent communication skill in english. Very Polite, Humble and punctual. He is well experienced and has good knowledge about the sightseeing. The car is very spacious , neat and clean. Very comfortable driving. He doesnt intrude into your privacy and gives complete space. He doesnt disturb while we are enjoying the sightseeing neither he enforce strict timing for tours. We had full flexibility of covering what we like and leaving what we dont.I will definitely recommend him for others planning Srilankan trip to make it more memorable .
